SilkSeal Is Made by Henkel

SilkSeal is a medical-grade, hypoallergenic adhesive manufactured by Henkel — the world's largest adhesive technology company. Henkel produces adhesives for the automotive, aerospace, electronics, and medical industries. They are not a white-label factory. They are the global standard.

SilkSeal is built on Henkel's LOCTITE DURO-TAK formula — the same adhesive platform used in pharmaceutical transdermal drug patches. These are patches designed to deliver medication through the skin over 24 to 72 hours of continuous wear. The adhesive requirements for transdermal patches — hypoallergenic, non-irritating, consistent adhesion, clean removal — are the same requirements we need for mouth tape you wear every night.

SilkSeal Is Independently Tested

We had SilkSeal tested by SGS — a global testing and certification company with over 160,000 employees across 140+ countries. SGS tested our adhesive to ISO 10993, the international standard for biological evaluation of medical devices.

The results:

Non-toxic. 95% of cells remained healthy and viable after exposure. The pass threshold is 70%.

Non-allergenic. 0% allergic reaction rate. Zero sensitization across every test subject at every time point — even after weeks of repeated exposure.

Non-irritating. Irritation score of 0.0 out of 8.0. Classified as "Negligible." Zero redness. Zero swelling.

What SilkSeal Does Not Have
