What SilkSeal Is

Titan Mouth Tape uses SilkSeal — a medical-grade, hypoallergenic adhesive manufactured by Henkel, the world's largest adhesive technology company. SilkSeal is built on Henkel's LOCTITE DURO-TAK formula — the same adhesive technology used in pharmaceutical transdermal patches.

We do not print a logo on the tape. No ink touches your skin. Ever.

How We Tested It

We sent our SilkSeal adhesive to SGS — one of the world's most respected testing and certification companies, with over 160,000 employees in 140+ countries. They tested it to ISO 10993, the international standard for biological evaluation of medical devices. This is the same standard used for surgical tapes, wound dressings, and implantable medical devices.

Three tests. Three results:

Toxicity: 95% cell viability. The pass threshold is 70%. Our adhesive is non-toxic.

Allergy: 0% allergic reaction rate across all subjects at all time points. Our adhesive is non-allergenic.

Irritation: Score of 0.0 out of 8.0 — classified as "Negligible." Zero redness. Zero swelling. Our adhesive is non-irritating.

Every test passed with the highest possible classification.

Why We Publish This

Most brands treat their adhesive as a trade secret. We treat it as a trust requirement. If you are putting something on your face every night, you deserve to know what it is, who made it, and whether it has been independently verified as safe.
